Hitting the clubs after work is the best way to blow off steam. Work up a sweat, bust a move, and enjoy yourself! You don’t want to mess up your good time with the wrong underwear for the job. When you’re picking underwear to go from work to party, keep these three things in mind.

 

Fit is Key

Underwear fit is the most important factor in your day to night routine. Picking underwear based on fit will get you the best results on the dance floor. Not every pair is created equal. There are pairs of underwear that fit great in the morning, but by afternoon their firm grip has become pinching along the waistband and stiffness in the seat. That’s not going to help you bust a move on the dance floor. 

Picking underwear that is too loose, or that gradually stretches out over the day, is even worse. That underwear quits before you’re ready to! Instead of shaking it on the dancefloor, you’re hitching up your britches at every chorus. You can’t keep it up for long.

You need a pair of underwear that will fit comfortably but maintain that fit all day. Typically, this means they’re fairly new, and the elastic hasn’t been worn out. Don’t throw your underwear in the dryer to preserve that fit longer--hang them to dry instead.

Breathable Material Keeps You Fresh

Underwear odor is not something you want to think about, and it’s not something to linger over, either. Simply put: people sweat. Everyone does it. You don’t have to be ashamed, but you don’t want to flaunt it either. When you wear your underwear all day, you have more opportunities to sweat, from running to catch the bus in the morning to it just being hot outside. When you’re shaking your thing on the dance floor, you’re going to sweat. If you have breathable material like cotton or synthetic blends designed around activity, you have nothing to worry about. The material wicks away moisture and leaves you fresh all the way to last call.

 

Eye-Popping Patterns 

While practicality reigns on the other two points, eye-popping patterns are a matter of personal preference. Some men prefer a simple neon shade. Though fashion sides with a risk taker. With so many pairs of excellent, practical underwear, make sure you’re getting something fashionable as well. If you play peekaboo on the dance floor, you want it to be an eye catching clue, right?

Whether you want to go flashy or understated, picking underwear for partying rests on two foundations. First, you need underwear that’s going to keep its fit all day long. Second, you need to be sure that dampness isn’t going to mess with your party. Pick the right underwear, and you can go all night!
